Key takeaways
- Two of the ten state a price for AI search work: Omniscient Digital (full-service from $120,000 a year, about $10,000 a month) and WebFX (GEO from $3,000 a month). Onely says it has no rate card, and the other seven give no figure.
- Two state a named client's AI search result with both a start figure and a period: Omniscient Digital (60 days) and Seer (year over year). Single Grain gives a start figure only, Previsible and Siege Media give a period only, and the rest give a percentage with neither, an unnamed client, a metric that is not AI search, or no result.
- Contract terms vary more than prices. Previsible offers project work with no long-term commitment and 12-month retainers, Siege Media expects a 6+ month horizon, and First Page Sage says it avoids long-term contracts yet describes typical campaigns as two to five years.
- Fit is stated, not assumed. Onely says it is not focused on small businesses, local search or paid media, iPullRank splits its GEO service into three stages aimed at start-ups, mid-market brands and Fortune 500s, and Omniscient Digital serves B2B brands.
- The engines named differ by agency. Siege Media's GEO page and homepage name only ChatGPT and AI Overviews, while Single Grain, WebFX and Previsible name six or more surfaces. Match the list to where your buyers ask.

How are these AI SEO agencies ranked?
The ten agencies are ranked on three facts each states on its site, in order: a published price, then a named client’s AI search result (a start figure and a period rank above one of the two, then neither), then the number of AI engines named on its GEO page and homepage. Ties fall to the later fact.

What does an AI SEO agency do?
An AI SEO agency works to get a brand mentioned, cited or recommended in AI answers from engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The work usually combines measuring where the brand appears, restructuring content, earning mentions on sources AI answers draw on, and fixing technical access.
The ten agencies describe the same four jobs in different words:
- Measurement. Omniscient Digital maps where a brand appears across prompts, categories and competitors. Seer lists a prompt development and tracking plan. Siege Media reports monthly on citations, share of voice and revenue.
- Content changes. Onely lists content restructuring and rewritten pages. Single Grain lists answer blocks with FAQ, HowTo, Speakable and Organization schema.
- Third-party mentions. Go Fish Digital sells digital PR for brand citations. Omniscient Digital lists review platforms, communities and comparison pages as targets. First Page Sage lists review management and database inclusion.
- Training and internal programs. Seer sells GEO education sessions, and iPullRank says it will help build an internal GEO program.
How much does an AI SEO agency cost?
Only two of the ten state a price for AI search work. WebFX lists GEO starting at $3,000 a month. Omniscient Digital lists full-service engagements starting at $120,000 a year, which is about $10,000 a month. The other eight give no figure, and Onely says it publishes no rate card.
WebFX also lists SEO packages from $2,900 (Silver) to $9,200 (Diamond) a month on a 6-month commitment, and does not say whether that term applies to the $3,000 GEO tier. Previsible prices project work per project and retainers by scope.
Because most prices are hidden, the useful comparison is the term and the deliverables. Ask each agency to put both in writing before you compare quotes.
Which AI SEO agencies are worth shortlisting?
Omniscient Digital and WebFX are the two that state a price, and Omniscient Digital and Seer are the two that show an AI result with a start figure and a period. The sections below follow the ranking, with each agency’s price, terms, services, stated result and limits.
1. Omniscient Digital
Omniscient Digital is an organic growth agency for B2B brands, and with WebFX it is one of two in this list that publishes a price for AI search work. Its answer engine optimization service starts at $120,000 a year for full-service engagements, and its Convert case study gives start and end figures with a 60-day period.
Best for: B2B brands, software above all, with an annual budget that can carry a full-service engagement.
Price and terms: Full-service engagements start at $120,000 a year, about $10,000 a month. No minimum term is stated.

Stated result: For Convert, an A/B testing and CRO software company, prompt visibility rose from 31% to 55% across tracked queries and AI citation share from 15% to 35% over 60 days, tracked in Peec AI. The page headlines these as 81% and 140%. Its own start and end figures work out to about 77% and 133%, and the page does not explain the difference.
Limits: The entry price is the highest stated in this list. Offices are in the US, the audience is B2B, and Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are not named on the service page. The agency chooses the tracked queries and the page does not give their number.

Limits: No price or term, and the SmartRent citation figure has no period. Several other result cards on the service page also give figures without one.

5. Previsible

Best for: SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, cybersecurity, education and travel brands that can commit to six months or more.
Price and terms: Not published. The page offers a proposal or a free assessment. Phases run from foundation in months one and two to compounding from month four, on a 12-month roadmap.

It publishes a book on generative engine optimization and a research report, “Where AI Gets Its Buying Advice.”

Limits: Its GEO page and homepage name only ChatGPT and AI Overviews. No price, and the Mentimeter figures carry no start figure and two different totals.

10. iPullRank
iPullRank sells GEO in three stages aimed at start-ups, mid-market brands and Fortune 500 companies, and says it will also help build an internal GEO program. It lists no price. Its six case studies are labelled by industry rather than client name.
Best for: Teams that want GEO work scoped by company size, with an option to bring it in-house.
Price and terms: Not published. No term is listed.
Services: The Emerging stage, “for start-ups and new brands,” lists an AI search visibility baseline and prompt and topic strategy. Growth, for mid-market and challenger brands, lists competitive analysis, an omnimedia content audit and plan, a measurement framework and execution support. How do you choose an AI SEO agency?
Choose on the constraint that is hardest for you: budget, contract length, company size or proof of results. The situations below name the agencies whose own statements match each one, with a second option where the statements support one. Ask every agency for a written scope before comparing them.
- You want a price before a call. WebFX (GEO from $3,000 a month), then Omniscient Digital (from $120,000 a year).
- You want an AI result with a start figure and a period. Omniscient Digital or Seer.
- You want to avoid a long commitment. Previsible’s project work carries no long-term commitment. Seer says you do not need a 12-month program to get answers. First Page Sage says it avoids long-term contracts, but describes typical campaigns as two to five years.
- You are a B2B software company. Omniscient Digital, then Siege Media for SaaS and fintech.
- You are an enterprise with several markets. Onely for international work, Seer for measurement, iPullRank’s Elite stage for Fortune 500 scope.
- You want to build the skill in-house. iPullRank offers to help build an internal program, and Seer sells education sessions.
- You are a small business or local. Onely says it is not focused on small businesses or local search. iPullRank’s Emerging stage is aimed at start-ups and new brands, and Previsible lists its integrated engagement for marketing orgs of 10 or less. Ask the rest for a minimum budget.
What should you ask an agency before you sign?
Ask for the baseline, the period and the prompts behind every AI result, and for the term and deliverables in writing. A percentage with no start figure cannot be checked, and AI answers differ between runs and engines, so a single screenshot is weak evidence.
- What was the start figure, and over what period? Two of the ten show both for a named client.
- Which prompts were tracked, and how many? Omniscient Digital’s Convert page does not state the number.
- Which engines does the work cover? Siege Media’s GEO page names two, while WebFX names seven and Previsible six or more.
- What is the minimum term? Terms range from no long-term commitment to 12 months and multi-year.
- What is delivered each month? Compare the list against the deliverables above.
- Who does the work? Ask whether strategy, content and digital PR are done by the same team that sells the engagement.
For the measurement side, see the AI visibility and GEO tools that track the same metrics, and how to rank in ChatGPT for what you can control yourself.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an AI SEO agency cost?
Most do not say. Of the ten here, WebFX lists GEO from $3,000 a month and Omniscient Digital lists full-service engagements from $120,000 a year, about $10,000 a month. The other eight publish no figure, and Onely says it has no rate card because the price depends on the brand's problem. Ask for a scoped proposal.
What is the difference between GEO, AEO and AI SEO?
Agencies use the labels loosely. Omniscient Digital and Single Grain lead with answer engine optimization, while the other eight use generative engine optimization, or GEO. All describe getting a brand cited or recommended in AI answers, so compare the deliverables each one lists, not the label.
How long does an AI SEO agency take to show results?
Agencies state different horizons. Single Grain says most clients see AI citation improvements within two to three months, Siege Media expects a 6+ month horizon, and Previsible lists 12-month retainers. Omniscient Digital's Convert result covers 60 days. Treat each as the agency's own statement and ask for the baseline behind it.
Should I hire an AI SEO agency or use a tool?
Tools measure and agencies execute. A tracker shows how often AI answers mention your brand, but closing the gap takes content, digital PR and technical work. If your team can do that work, start with a tracker. If it cannot, an agency covers execution at a monthly or annual price.
What should an AI SEO case study show?
A named client, the metric, a start figure and a time period. Of the ten agencies here, Omniscient Digital and Seer give all four for an AI search result. Without a baseline, a figure such as 270% or 586% cannot be compared with what the client had before the work started.
