Who is responsible
AI Tools Marketer is published by Alston Antony, who is accountable for every editorial decision on the site including what gets reviewed, what score it receives and what gets corrected. There is no separate commercial team with authority over content, because there is no separate commercial team.
Commercial relationships and disclosure
This site may carry affiliate links, sponsored placements or other commercial arrangements. Where any of those exist, they are labelled on the page they appear on, so you can weigh a recommendation knowing what sits behind it. The standard we hold ourselves to is disclosure, not the pretence that money is never involved in publishing.
What a commercial relationship cannot do is change an assessment. Scores come from the five dimensions set out in the methodology, and the same rubric is applied whether a vendor has a commercial relationship with us or has never heard of us. A paid placement can buy visibility on this site. It cannot buy a higher score, a softened limitation, or the removal of a criticism.
We do not send drafts to vendors for approval before publishing. We will accept a factual correction from a vendor after publication, on the same basis we accept one from a reader: with a source, and with the correction noted on the page.
Free access, trial extensions or briefings from a vendor do not create an obligation to cover them favourably, and where they materially shaped a review we say so in that review.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on this site may earn a commission. Where that is the case the link is labelled on the page it appears on, and the arrangement is described in full in our affiliate disclosure.
Two commitments apply without exception. Commission rates never influence a score, a ranking or a recommendation. And we will recommend a tool with no affiliate programme over one that pays us whenever that is the better answer for the reader, which happens regularly.
If you ever find a recommendation here that only makes sense once you know who is paying, that is a failure of this policy and we want to hear about it through the contact page.
Sourcing standards
Factual claims about pricing, limits, licensing and terms are sourced to the vendor's own documentation, and the sources are listed on the page so you can check them. Where a figure could not be verified at its primary source, the review says so instead of publishing an unverified number.
Reviews state whether they are hands-on tested or a documentation review, and the difference is explained on the methodology page. We do not describe a tool as tested when it has not been.
We do not publish vendor marketing copy as description. Every summary, card and verdict on this site is written by us. Where we quote a vendor, it is presented as their claim rather than as established fact.
How AI is used in producing this site
AI assists with research, drafting and editing here, as it does at most publishers now. It does not make editorial judgements. Scores, verdicts, recommendations and the decision to publish are made by a person who is accountable for them, and every page is reviewed and fact checked before it goes live.
We do not publish generated text that nobody has verified, and we do not generate reviews of tools nobody has assessed. Our full statement on this is in the AI disclosure.
Conflicts of interest
Alston Antony is the founder of ZPlatform.ai and works in the AI and software industry, which means overlap with tools covered here is possible. Where a genuine conflict exists, it is disclosed on the page in question. Where the conflict is severe enough that a fair review is not possible, we do not publish a score.
Corrections
Errors get corrected, and corrections get noted on the page rather than made silently. If you find something wrong, send it through the contact page with a source and we will deal with it promptly.
Disagreement with a judgement is different from a factual error. We will read the argument, and if it changes our view we will update the review and say why. If it does not, the score stands and we will tell you that directly.
Reader interest comes first
When the interests of a reader and a vendor conflict on this site, the reader wins. That is the whole policy. Everything above is an attempt to make it operational.
