Who is responsible
AI Tools for Marketers is published by Alston Antony, who is accountable for every editorial decision on the site including what gets listed, what each entry says and what gets corrected. There is no separate commercial team with authority over content, because there is no separate commercial team.
Commercial relationships and disclosure
This site may carry affiliate links, sponsored placements or other commercial arrangements. Where any of those exist, they are labelled on the page they appear on, so you can weigh what you are reading knowing what sits behind it. The standard we hold ourselves to is disclosure, not the pretence that money is never involved in publishing.
What a commercial relationship cannot do is change the content of an entry. Every tool page records the same things in the same order, drawn from the vendor's own documentation, whether that vendor has a commercial relationship with us or has never heard of us. A commercial arrangement cannot buy the removal of a documented limit or the softening of a published cap.
It also cannot buy a position, because there is no position to buy. The full list and every category list are alphabetical, and nothing on this site is scored, rated or ranked. That is set out in detail on how the list is compiled.
We do not send drafts to vendors for approval before publishing. We will accept a factual correction from a vendor after publication, on the same basis we accept one from a reader: with a source, and with the correction noted on the page.
Free access, trial extensions or briefings from a vendor do not create an obligation to cover them favourably, and where they materially shaped an entry we say so on that entry.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on this site may earn a commission. Where that is the case the link is labelled on the page it appears on, and the arrangement is described in full in our affiliate disclosure.
Two commitments apply without exception. Commission rates never change what an entry records or where it appears. And a tool with no affiliate programme is listed on exactly the same terms as one that pays us, which is a large share of this list.
If you ever find something here that only makes sense once you know who is paying, that is a failure of this policy and we want to hear about it through the contact page.
Sourcing standards
Factual claims about pricing, limits, licensing and terms are sourced to the vendor's own documentation, and the sources are listed on the page so you can check them. Where a figure could not be verified at its primary source, the entry says so instead of publishing an unverified number.
Entries record what a vendor publishes. They do not report hands-on testing, and no page here claims a tool was used unless it says so explicitly. Where a vendor discloses no pricing or no documentation, the absence is recorded as a finding rather than filled in from a third-party aggregator.
We do not publish vendor marketing copy as description. Every summary, tagline and line of card copy on this site is written by us. Where we quote a vendor, it is presented as their claim rather than as established fact.
How AI is used in producing this site
AI assists with research, drafting and editing here, as it does at most publishers now. It does not make editorial judgements. What gets listed, what an entry records and the decision to publish are made by a person who is accountable for them, and every page is checked against its sources before it goes live.
We do not publish generated text that nobody has verified, and we do not generate entries for tools nobody has checked. Our full statement on this is in the AI disclosure.
Conflicts of interest
Alston Antony is the founder of ZPlatform.ai and works in the AI and software industry, which means overlap with tools covered here is possible. Where a genuine conflict exists, it is disclosed on the page in question.
Corrections
Errors get corrected, and corrections get noted on the page rather than made silently. If you find something wrong, send it through the contact page with a source and we will deal with it promptly.
Because this site records published facts rather than opinions, most corrections are straightforward: either a vendor publishes a figure or it does not. Where a vendor has changed a price or a plan limit since we last checked, tell us and the entry is updated with a new verification date.
Reader interest comes first
When the interests of a reader and a vendor conflict on this site, the reader wins. That is the whole policy. Everything above is an attempt to make it operational.
