Kafkai
Search data for your AI assistant, sold as prepaid credit packs with no subscription
Kafkai is a plugin for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT that returns search data: the keywords a site ranks for, who links to it, who it competes with and Search Console figures. There is no Kafkai screen to work in. Credits are prepaid in five packs from 1,000 to 22,000 credits (1,100 to 22,000 JPY including Japanese consumption tax), and every call is priced: a project with one competitor costs 850 credits. New accounts get 1,000 free credits that last 90 days.

- Create a project: 500 credits for your site plus 350 per competitor. The page's example is 850 credits for a project with one competitor.
- Refresh a project (keywords and backlinks): 500 credits for your site plus 350 per competitor. Refreshing backlinks only is 150 credits per site.
- Find competitors: 50 credits per call plus 0.1 per competitor returned.
- Check page-one results: 1 credit per call plus 5 credits per keyword, at most 51 credits for 10 keywords. A keyword checked in the last 24 hours is returned again at no extra charge.
- Reading data back (keywords, backlinks, Search Console, analytics) is 1 credit per call plus 0.1 per row, so 100 rows cost 11 credits. Competitor analysis, ranking changes and SERP data cost 2 credits per call.
- Checking the balance and deleting a project are free. Every response reports what the call cost.
Prepaid credits bought in five packs: 1,000, 3,000, 5,000, 10,500 and 22,000 credits. Larger packs include a 5% or 10% bonus. 1 credit is 1 JPY before tax. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or American Express through Stripe.
Kafkai features: what it does
- Connects to Claude, ChatGPT or a custom agent as a plugin (MCP), with a one-time setup the site puts at about 30 minutes
- Returns the keywords a site ranks for with position and monthly search volume, backlinks, competitor overlap and Search Console figures for a verified domain
- Finds the sites that link to a competitor and not to you
- Sorts a site's keywords into four recommendation types (Compete, Catch-up, Consolidate, Complement) by comparing them with competitors
- Sends an article written by your AI to a WordPress site as a draft
Kafkai limitations
- Credits are valid for 90 days from the day they are granted or bought, including the 1,000 free signup credits.
- Prices are listed in JPY and include Japanese consumption tax. Checkout works out the tax from the billing address, and no USD or EUR price is published.
- Research is priced per site: 500 credits for your site and 350 for each competitor, and refreshing a project costs the same again.
- Ranking changes appear only from the next research run. The cached page describes no scheduled monitoring.
- No team, seat or white-label terms are published, and the company behind the service is not named.
Who Kafkai is for
| Your situation | What that means here |
|---|---|
| Consultant who audits a prospect's site once | A project with one competitor is 850 credits, and the smallest pack of 1,000 credits is 1,100 JPY including tax. |
| Marketer who wants a dashboard to open | The site says there is no Kafkai screen. Questions are asked and answered inside Claude, ChatGPT or an agent. |
| Team that prefers a monthly subscription | Pricing is prepaid packs only, and credits expire after 90 days, so a quiet quarter wastes the balance. |
| Agency checking many competitors per client | Each competitor adds 350 credits to a create or refresh, so a project with five competitors costs 2,250 credits to set up. |
| Buyer billed in USD or EUR | Packs are listed in JPY including Japanese consumption tax, and no other currency price is published. |
| Content team publishing to WordPress | An article written by the AI assistant can be sent to WordPress as a draft for review before it goes live. |
