Imaginode

Image, video and voice generation on a node canvas, priced per generation

Free trial17 USD a month excluding tax for 900 credits on Starter
Overview

Imaginode is a browser based node canvas that wires 74 third-party AI models, covering images, video, voice and text, onto a single credit balance. Its cost disclosure is unusually complete for this category: the per-generation credit price of every model is published without a login, the exact cost appears before each click, and one credit is stated as roughly 0.012 USD. Plans run from 17 USD a month excluding tax for 900 credits to 188 USD for 10,500, with 7 USD top-ups that never expire while monthly credits do. The refund promise is narrower than it first reads, because the terms re-credit only generations that fail on the provider's side and explicitly charge for completed generations you cannot use. Nothing published grants output ownership or commercial use rights.

Worth a look if
You want 74 models on one balance with each credit cost shown before you generate, and the REST API and MCP server running on the same credits as the canvas.

You need a written commercial use or output ownership grant before assets go into paid media, or you need shared workspaces, seats and brand kits.
Cost to start
17 USD a month excluding tax for 900 credits on Starter. Trial only. Two free images on signup with no card required. There is no ongoing free tier, though a 7 USD top-up of 300 credits never expires.

Before you pay for Imaginode

  • Nothing in the terms of sale grants output ownership or commercial use rights, while making the user solely responsible for what they generate.
  • The 14-day right of withdrawal is waived at checkout and used credits are never refunded. Disputing a charge without a prior complaint suspends the account.
  • Availability is expressly not guaranteed, no uptime commitment is published, and total liability is capped at the fees paid over the previous twelve months.
  • Subscription credits expire at renewal and are always spent before the non-expiring top-up credits, so an unused monthly allowance is lost.

Imaginode pricing and plans

PlanPriceWhat it includesWhat that works out at
Starter17 USD a month excluding tax900 credits, every model unlocked0.0189 USD a credit by the plan arithmetic, against a stated rate of roughly 0.012 USD. The two do not agree.
Creator55 USD a month excluding tax3,100 credits0.0177 USD a credit. Best value of the three subscriptions.
Studio188 USD a month excluding tax10,500 credits0.0179 USD a credit
Top-up (smallest)7 USD once300 credits that never expire0.0233 USD a credit. Worst value per credit, but it does not lapse.
  • In marketer units at the Creator rate of 0.0177 USD a credit: a Flux Schnell image at 1 credit is about 0.02 USD, a five second Kling clip at 26 credits about 0.46 USD, and an eight second Veo 3.1 Fast clip at 144 credits about 2.55 USD.
  • Twenty eight-second Veo 3.1 Fast variants come to 2,880 credits, which is more than three Starter months at 900 credits each and fits inside one Creator month at 3,100.
  • Worst value per credit is the 7 USD top-up at 0.0233. Best is Creator at 0.0177. The top-up buys permanence rather than volume, since it never expires while subscription credits reset at renewal.
  • The vendor states one credit is roughly 0.012 USD, but 17 USD for 900 credits works out at 0.0189. Confirm which figure is billed before sizing a plan.
  • The same plans are published at 17, 55 and 188 USD on the English site and 13, 42 and 145 euros on the French one, both excluding tax, and the terms state prices are expressed in euros excluding VAT. Those are not equivalent amounts.
  • Local Stable Diffusion checkpoints run through ComfyUI, AUTOMATIC1111, Forge or SD.Next generate at 0 credits.
  • The models page headline states 49 models while listing 74, and the homepage states video from 38 credits while the published list shows video from 9.
  • Worked the other way: 20 product images on Nano Banana at 6 credits each is 120 credits, about 1.44 USD, and four five second Kling clips at 26 credits each is 104 credits.

Three subscriptions, all unlocking every model, with only the credit volume changing: Starter at 17 USD excluding tax for 900 credits a month, Creator at 55 USD for 3,100 and Studio at 188 USD for 10,500. One credit is stated as roughly 0.012 USD. One-time top-ups run from 7 USD for 300 credits through tiers of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000. Subscription credits reset at renewal and are spent before top-up credits, which never expire. Tax is calculated at checkout, and the terms state prices are expressed in euros excluding VAT despite the USD display. Published per-generation costs range from 1 credit for a Flux Schnell image to 26 for a five second Kling clip and 144 for an eight second Veo 3.1 Fast clip.

Imaginode features: what it does

  • A node canvas wiring text, image, video, media, reference and style nodes into a workflow that can be saved and replayed
  • 74 hosted models on one credit balance, 18 image, 16 video, 20 text and 20 audio, with every plan unlocking every model
  • The credit cost of each model is published openly on the models page and shown in the interface before each generation
  • A camera node exposing framing, lens, aperture, angle and movement as explicit controls rather than prompt text
  • A reference node that stores a character as a name, a description and up to 6 images, recalled with an @name mention in any later prompt
  • A REST API and an MCP server that let Claude, Cursor or a script generate on the same account and the same credits

Imaginode limitations

  • The terms re-credit only a technical failure on the AI provider's side where no content is delivered. A generation that completes but shows missing elements, illegible text or artifacts is stated as due and carries no right to a refund or re-credit
  • No clause anywhere addresses uploading images of identifiable people, despite talking avatar and UGC video tooling that takes uploaded faces
  • No team seats, shared workspaces, brand kits, asset approval or role permissions are documented anywhere
  • The per-plan image, video and voice-over counts are alternative uses of one balance rather than a combined allowance, and the image figure implies a 3 credit model while the cheapest models on the published list cost 1
  • The models page headline states 49 models while listing 74, and the homepage states video from 38 credits while the published list shows video generation from 9

Who Imaginode is for

Your situationWhat that means here
Solo marketer producing social and product visualsEvery model is unlocked on the 17 USD Starter plan and the cost of each generation is shown before the click, so the spend is visible and capped by the balance rather than by a feature gate.
Brand publishing generated assets in paid mediaThe terms of sale carry no output ownership or commercial use clause and assign sole responsibility for generated content to the user, so the rights position needs settling in writing before anything ships.
Team that needs shared brand governanceNo brand kit, seat, workspace or approval feature is documented on any tier, so consistency across several people is enforced by process rather than by the product.
Video-heavy monthPublished costs run from 9 credits for a Grok Imagine Video clip to 144 for an eight second Veo 3.1 Fast clip, so the plan that fits depends entirely on which model you settle on.
Automating creative production with scripts or an agentThe REST API and MCP server run on the same credits, with keys capped at five active and 10 generations a minute, and the models endpoint is readable without authentication.
Procurement requiring a service level commitmentAvailability is expressly not guaranteed, no uptime figure is published, and total liability is capped at the fees paid over the previous twelve months.

Imaginode use cases for marketers

  • Repeatable creative production on a node canvas, saving a workflow such as a product video ad pipeline and replaying it per asset.
  • Character-consistent campaign imagery, storing a character as a name, a description and up to 6 reference images recalled by @name in later prompts.
  • Scripted or agent-driven generation through the REST API and MCP server, on the same account and credits.

Imaginode FAQ

Is a failed generation really refunded?

Only a provider-side failure delivering no content, which re-credits automatically. A generation that completes and comes back unusable is stated as due: the terms list missing elements, illegible text and distorted hands as expected behaviour rather than defects.

How many models are there, 49 or 74?

74, which is what the homepage, pricing page and category counters say, and what the models page lists when counted: 18 image, 16 video, 20 text and 20 audio. The headline figure of 49 is inconsistent with the list beneath it.

Is there an API?

Yes, though no tier lists it. A REST API and an MCP server both spend the same credits at the same prices. Keys cap at five active and 10 generations a minute each. The models endpoint needs no authentication.

  4. The terms of sale state the service is published by BUSINESSDYNAMITE, a French SAS with share capital of 1,000 euros registered at the Metz Trade and Companies Register under number 840 854 129, based in Sarrebourg, France, and that prices are expressed in euros excluding VAT with payments processed by Stripe. Credits have no monetary value and are neither refundable nor transferable. Subscription credits expire at renewal while top-up, trial and re-credited credits have no expiry while the account is active, and every generation is charged first against subscription credits. Only a generation that fails on the AI provider's side, with no content delivered, is automatically re-credited. The terms state that a technically completed generation is due regardless of any judgment of the result, its quality, its fidelity to the prompt or whether it matches expectations, and gives no right to any refund, re-credit, compensation or damages, and that BUSINESSDYNAMITE is bound by an obligation of means rather than result. The 14-day right of withdrawal is waived at checkout under Articles L221-25 and L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, used credits are never refunded, and disputing a payment with a card issuer without a prior complaint suspends the account. Users are solely responsible for the content they generate and its use, continuous availability cannot be guaranteed, and total liability is capped at amounts paid over the last twelve months. The service is reserved for adults or minors aged 15 or over with guardian consent. No clause grants output ownership or commercial use rights, and none addresses uploading images of identifiable people.imaginode.ai
  5. The privacy policy names BUSINESSDYNAMITE as data controller and lists the processors used as Google Firebase for authentication, database and storage, Stripe for payments, Vercel AI Gateway for text, image and video generation, Vercel for hosting, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel with consent. It states that prompts and reference media are sent to Vercel and the model providers to fulfil requests, that some providers are located outside the European Union with transfers governed by standard contractual clauses, that account data and content are kept as long as the account is active and then deleted on request, and that billing data is kept for 10 years. It does not state whether prompts or uploaded media are used to train models.imaginode.ai
  6. The API documentation states that a REST API and an MCP server expose everything the canvas can generate, spending the same credits at the same prices, with failed generations refunded. API keys are created from the profile, require a verified email, are limited to five active keys and 10 generations per minute each, and are revocable. The MCP server is at https://imaginode.ai/api/mcp over Streamable HTTP with Bearer authentication, exposing list_models, generate_image, generate_video and get_generation_status. The REST endpoints are GET /api/models, which needs no authentication and returns models, options and prices in credits, POST /api/generate, which returns a requestId, the cost and the new balance, and GET /api/generate/status. Input images must be media already hosted on the Imaginode account. Video generations are described as typically taking 1 to 5 minutes and up to 30 for long generations.imaginode.ai
  7. The use cases page publishes pre-wired canvas templates described as ready-made workflows, covering text to image generation, animating an image into a 5 to 10 second video shot using models named as Kling and Seedance with the price shown before every generation, cinematic direction through the camera node covering framing, focal length, aperture, angle and movement, a consistent character built on a reference node that memorises a name, a description and up to 6 images and is summoned with an @name mention in any prompt, an AI moodboard enforcing an art direction through the style node, and a product video ad pipeline running from script to visual to animation.imaginode.ai
  8. The documentation index lists written guides covering getting started, the canvas and nodes with text, image, video, media, reference and style types, the camera node covering framing, lens, aperture, angle and movement, an AI assistant that builds workflows, credits and billing, the AI models, connecting a local Stable Diffusion install through ComfyUI, AUTOMATIC1111, Forge or SD.Next to generate free inside the canvas, and the API and MCP server.
